De retour en Belgique, elle fonde son bureau de design et, nourrie d\u2019une passion pour l\u2019\u00e9ducation, elle enseigne \u00e0 l\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.versailles.archi.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">E.N.S.A.V.<\/a> de la Cambre o\u00f9 elle assume la direction du programme de design industriel. Sa m\u00e9thodologie est faite d\u2019observations des pratiques ordinaires et de remises en cause des principes d\u2019organisation habituels. Elle rassemble des univers distincts, de l\u2019artisanat \u00e0 l\u2019art contemporain, de l\u2019industrie textile au commerce \u00e9quitable, r\u00e9alisant des projets de sc\u00e9nographie, de mobilier, d\u2019architecture, de graphisme, collaborant avec des artistes, de jeunes entreprises d\u2019\u00e9dition de mobilier, des municipalit\u00e9s et des collectivit\u00e9s. Son travail est aussi diffus\u00e9 au Japon, en Angleterre, au Qu\u00e9bec comme aux \u00c9tats-Unis, et figure fr\u00e9quemment dans la s\u00e9lection annuelle d\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ai-ap.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">American Illustration<\/a>. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Martin explore diff\u00e9rents champs d\u2019applications artistiques dont le dessin anim\u00e9 et la cr\u00e9ation graphique en \u00e9dition et communication visuelle avec le collectif <a href=\"http:\/\/2oeufsbaconptitespatates.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">2 Oeufs Bacon P\u2019tites Patates<\/a> qu\u2019il a cofond\u00e9. Il y d\u00e9veloppe une pratique du design et de l\u2019architecture temporaires \u00e0 la fois \u00e9conomique et participative, soucieuse de l\u2019environnement. Ses projets lient conception et fabrication, ils initient des collaborations avec les communaut\u00e9s locales et mettent en valeur le savoir-faire de tous et chacun. Bas\u00e9 \u00e0 Paris, il \u00e9crit avant l\u2019\u00e2ge de 30 ans le livre \u00ab The Open Circle: Peter Brook\u2019s Theatre Environments \u00bb en collaboration avec le grand metteur en sc\u00e8ne. Il fonde son <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studioandrewtodd.com\/#\" target=\"_blank\">studio \u00e9ponyme<\/a> apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode de collaboration avec Jean Nouvel, et se distingue rapidement par des projets de salles de spectacles tels que the Young Vic \u00e0 Londres et le CQS Space \u00e0 l\u2019Old Vic pour Kevin Spacey. Il construit l\u2019auditorium du Silo \u00e0 Marseille en\u00a02011 et travaille en ce moment sur une s\u00e9rie de b\u00e2timents de th\u00e9\u00e2tres en bois avec des profils ultra-\u00e9cologiques. Le th\u00e9\u00e2tre \u00e9lisab\u00e9thain du <a href=\"http:\/\/www.studioandrewtodd.com\/#\/projects\/44\/\" target=\"_blank\">ch\u00e2teau d\u2019Hardelot<\/a> sera inaugur\u00e9 en octobre de cette ann\u00e9e. Chercheur ind\u00e9pendent, il \u00e9crit r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement pour the Guardian, Financial Times, Architecture d\u2019Aujourd\u2019hui et la BBC.
